Graduated from Warwick University with a BSc and PhD in Chemistry. After a post doc, returned to UK to work in various positions at Elsevier Science - STM commercial publisher.

Managing editor of the Cochrane Collaboration Dementia and Cognitive Improvement Group from 2007-2009.

2009-present: Network Manager of Thames Valley Dementias and Neurodegenerative Diseases Research Network, a NHS organisation designed to promote recruitment to and delivery of high quality clinical research in dementias, Parkinson’s disease, Motor Neuron disease, Huntington’s disease and Ataxias.
