The “International Non-pharmacological Therapies Project” (INPTP) is a community-based project to develop the science and practice of NPTs.

TheScientific Area is structured according to the different NPT categories ( Cognitive Stimulation Therapy, Music Therapy, Physical Exercise, etc). In each category, a team of experts works on its development. If you are knowledgeable in a particular NPT, you are kindly invited to participate. We also welcome participation in issues that concern the field as a whole: overall taxonomy, research methods, grading of the evidence, clinical recommendations, outcomes, finance of larger studies, econometrics, etc. Interventions Area aims to serve therapists interested in enriching their daily practice with varied treatment proposals. If you have developed new treatment practices or sessions we invite you to share them in one of two ways: you can upload them as a PDF; alternatively you may copy/paste your intervention into wiki format, giving your colleagues a chance to improve it.

The Joint Area is where we make the hard science or our field more accessible to practitioners. One section streams TV interviews of renowned researchers, another section lists current scientific events, such as conferences and symposia, and training programs. You are welcome to share your event on our calendar. There is also a Forum section where users can discuss diverse issues of our field. {{#switchtablink}}

No one would have predicted better:

Through collaboration, we can achieve our goal of developing the science and practical application of NPTs, to humanize and improve the quality of life of the elderly, their families and professional caregivers. Any contribution is welcomed and supervised by an expert committee that ensures the information in our page is reliable and updated.

Do not hesitate and please check the How to write/edit article page there you will find some instructions that will help you when adding any relevant information.

As you may have already guessed, the INPTP is alive! We foresee the contents within each area will grow in width and depth. If you miss any scientific or treatment category, or a section, send us an email and we will create it in the blink of an eye. Some text above the tab view
